Begun in 1985 as Franklin Communications, the company was bought and renamed by David Francis in 1996. Since then, David has focused steadfastly on refining NewComm’s product lines and improving customer service. David and his staff bring to NewComm more than 100 years of sales and technical experience in the A/V and communications industries.
- David Francis is president of Newcomm Technologies and has been in the industry since 1979. He has worked in sales in both the A/V integrator world with a leading Philadelphia-based integration firm, and the LCD projection and display world with Sharp Electronics as a regional sales and area manager. - Bob Griffin joined NewComm in 2013, having spent the previous six years working for a Baltimore-based A/V Integrator. Bob’s particular area of expertise and passion is in live sound, and he has extensive experience in a variety of performance venue environments. - Alex Schouten works in sales and dealer communication for NewComm Technologies, and also manages NewComm Distributing, a sister company of NewComm Technologies, distributing ClearOne, Comrex, Intelix, Liberty AV Solutions, PDR Mounts, Presentation Switchers and Tripp-Lite products to all 50 states. - Susan Sheaffer started with NewComm Technologies in June of 2007. In her position as office manager, her time is split between NewComm Technologies and NewComm Distributing. Her responsibilities include interfacing with customers, dealers and manufacturers.
